Art Deco Steel framed external doors
Art Deco style glazing was installed throughout this family home to create a traditional steel glazing aesthetic. This design is becoming increasingly popular among new build and renovated properties due to the beautifully slim frames.
Mondrian® external steel framed doors were installed to the ground floor rear kitchen of this property. These steel framed doors were created in a Belgium door configuration to create a beautifully wide opening. The design included fixed panes alongside two large opening doors.
The thin frames allow large panes of glass to be installed which provides the homeowners with incredible views overlooking their outdoor living spaces. In turn, a huge amount of light can flood the internal living spaces to create an incredibly light and airy home.
The interior design takes advantage of the Art Deco style glazing by introducing soft and warm tones that juxtapose the dark colours of the steel frames. Wood is used throughout the design of the interior to add warmth and to continue the sophistication throughout the whole aesthetic of the property.
Mondrian® Glazing is an on-trend glazing design that we are seeing increasingly used for residential properties. The elegant aesthetic oozes both traditional and contemporary design. The frames can be manufactured in a range of materials and finishes, this homeowner chose a dark black frame which offered a bold statement feature to both the interior and exterior design aesthetic. Not only were Art Deco style steel framed doors installed to the exterior, but they were also used within the interior of the home to create a cohesive design
