This glazing system comes with the following glass as standard: 6mm toughened outer/ 16mm argon filled cavity/ 6mm toughened inner with low e coating. However, other glass and glass coating options are available upon request (at a maximum thickness of 21-37mm) including IQ heated glass, anti-reflective glass, acoustic interlayer, low iron glass and privacy glass.
Contemporary architecture is rediscovering the design and functionality properties of steel framing systems especially for historical renovation projects, but these systems are also delightful when used for new high-end residential and boutique commercial buildings.
This system can be exposed to the environment, causing the steel to age and darken with time resulting in a gorgeous traditional industrial finish, while still preserving its performance levels.
The steel frame is fully thermally broken and achieves a Uw value of 1.5 W/m2K using a double glazed unit.
Doors or Windows
The windows and doors are available in a wide range of configurations: single/double vents, side hung windows, inward/outward opening, bottom hung windows, projected top hung windows, side hung door and double opening side hung door.
Durable Performance
This steel system has been fully tested for thermal performance, security and weather resistance with the following performance classifications:
- Air Permeability up to Class 4 to EN12207
- Water resistance up to 9A to EN12208
- Resistance to wind load up to C5 to EN12210
- Security up to RC2
